Laser
Magic is a new advanced modulation system for the intensity
control of the spectral resolution of white light lasers. The new system no longer requires the separation of the optical wavelengths through discrete channels. The modulation of the individual spectral parts takes place in an acousto-optic crystal. With this system all optical wavelengths remain in one beam path. Difficult adjustments, such as existed in older mechanical systems, are eliminated. The intensity control is entirely electrical and not mechanical, which means it is free of inertia, resulting in almost unlimited speed. |

| Landwehrs K 101 linear amplifier/driver is characterized by its extremely low distortion and wide bandwidth. This performance guarantees multi signal operation with low intermodulation. The amplifier K 101 is as well an active 2:1 power combiner. The two input channels of the K 101 are amplified to an adequate rf-power signal to feed an AOTF. The maximum power output level is limited as a protection for the acousto-optic device. These AOTF drivers are designed for industrial applications as well as for university research. | ![]() |

Landwehrs
K 102 passive rf-power combiner is characterized by its extremely
low distortion and wide bandwidth. This performance guarantees
multi signal operation with low intermodulation. The K 102
combines four output signals from Landwehrs PLL-synthesizers K
103. The sum then feeds one of the inputs of the low distortion
power amplifier K 101. These CB 4:1 combiners are designed for industrial applications as well as for university research. |

The
PLL-synthesizer K 103 is a fully frequency synthesis generator.
The output frequency of this device is derived from a phase locked
loop system. The PLL-synthesizer K 103 is programmable over a very
broad frequency range. The fine frequency raster of the generator
allows to drive an acousto-optic tunable filter very precisely at
its best operation frequency. |

The
system controller device K 104 is a new type of microprocessor
unit which allows standard interface operation. This
microprocessor controls and programmes up to 8 di fferent
synthesizer oscillators K 103 to their specific operating
frequency. The K 104 has different input and output interfaces e.
g. for a temperature sensor or a shutter. This performance makes
it ideally suitable for a wide range of applications. |
