With
the A 25x, Landwehr offers a completely different generation of
radio frequency (rf) power drivers for acousto-optic Q-Switch
applications. The A 25x is worldwide the only Q-Switch Driver
which allows Laser Pulse Control (LPC) by running Active Gain
Control (AGC from DC to 350 MHz) of the linear preamplifier. There
is no need any more to use nonlinear diode modulators, switched
oscillators or attenuators to achieve a first pulse suppression or
similar function. With Laser Pulse Control there are no
restrictions. The rf power output follows any kind of modulation
because high speed switching over gain control has now become
realistic. This Q-Switch Driver is not a dream - it‘s the consequent development at Landwehr Electronic GmbH. Feel free and use this driver with any synchronized mode of analogue or digital modulation. The high technical performance guarantees stable power output, best linearity of rf output vs input control voltage, superb switching characteristics and exceptional on/off ratio. Furthermore, a preadjustable SWR protection and an overheat indication have been integrated. The AO Q-Switch Driver is designed as a water cooled version to achieve a high rf power output of up to 150 Watts, yet keeping the size of the driver unusually small. This feature makes it ideally suitable for use in industrial applications such as very high power laser systems. |

The F 003 is an electronic standing wave ratio detector intended
for use in applications as reliable measurements of the SWR
between a high power q-switch driver and the acoustooptic device
(Q-Switch). The great advantage of the SWR Detector is that any
small change in load mismatch can be detected. The F 003 observes
and indicates a fault at a very early stage before severe damage
will switch off your laser system. The SWR Detector has been designed also for use in systems whereby two Q-Switches are run with synchronous modulation from one rf-driver. High technical performance guarantees an indication if only one Q-Switch fails after the rf-signal has past through a two way cable transformer. This SWR Detector F 003 has been developed for high precision industrial applications. |
