Landwehr
Electronic GmbH, one of the leading companies for the development
and production of high speed radio frequency (rf) drivers, is
expanding its range with the A 29x medium power series. The rf
driver has been designed for any acousto-optic modulator (AOM) as
well as for shear or compressional mode Q-Switch applications. The A 29x belongs to the Q-Switch Driver generation which allows Laser Pulse Control (LPC) by running Active Gain Control (AGC from DC to 350 MHz) of the linear preamplifier. There is no need any more to use nonlinear diode modulators, switched oscillators or a programmed attenuator to achieve a first pulse suppression or similar function. |

With
Laser Pulse Control there are no restrictions. The rf power output
follows any kind of modulation because high speed switching over
gain control has now become realistic. Feel free and use this
driver with any synchronized mode of analogue or digital
modulation. The high technical performance guarantees stable power
output, best linearity of rf output vs input control voltage,
superb switching characteristics and exceptional on/off ratio. A
preadjustable SWR protection and an overheat indication have been
integrated. Also, should the unit temperature exceed 60 C the
equipment will be shutdown automatically. The RF-Driver A 29x can operate from different supply voltages which guarantee minimum power dissipation in relation to the required radio frequency output signal. |
